BYD Shark 6 Bull Bar | Steel Front Bumper with LED Lights & Winch Mount

The Shark 6 factory bumper is a plastic skin over a foam absorber. It looks the part on the showroom floor, but the first kangaroo, the first rocky wash-out or the first time you need a real recovery point, it has nothing to give. This slimline steel bull bar replaces the whole factory bumper with a 3mm steel plate structure, finished in a matte black powder coat that hides scratches and matches the Shark 6's factory black trim. The profile sits tight against the body - no protruding tube work - so the truck keeps its clean, modern face while gaining a front end that can actually take a hit. It comes fitted for real use. Two LED light pods sit recessed in the outer wings and connect through the supplied plug-in harness. A low-mount winch fairlead plate is built into the centre section for winches up to 12,000 lb. Two rated recovery points bolt through the lower bar to the mounting brackets, so you have a proper anchor for a snatch strap instead of a plastic tow eye. The factory front parking sensor apertures are retained, and the bar leaves the grille, badge radar and camera untouched. The design follows the slimline king-style layout that has become the standard for Australian-spec dual-cab bars: hexagonal mesh vents, an integrated number plate mount, and a flat top face with pre-drilled provisions for a light bar or driving lights. Weight is 60 kg. This is a two-person, half-day job with a socket set, or a straightforward fit for any 4x4 workshop.
