The bonnet is the first panel your Shark 6 puts into the weather. Gravel off a road train, bug strike on the highway, UV baking the paint every day it sits outside - the leading edge takes it all, and a bonnet respray is not a cheap fix on a factory-matched metallic. This page covers two model-specific bonnet upgrades that work on their own or together. The Bonnet Cover is a sports hood panel moulded from the original Shark 6 bonnet, with functional side louvres and the raised centre spine that gives the truck its wide-body stance. It sits over the factory hood surface and follows every crease line, so it reads as a factory off-road pack rather than a bolt-on. The Bonnet Protector is a 3-piece stone and bug deflector that wraps the leading edge - one centre section plus a left and right wing. Split construction means you can run all three for full coverage or just the centre piece for a cleaner, lower-profile look, and it also makes each piece far easier to align on your own. Both are injection-moulded ABS, UV and weather stable from -40°C to 120°C, and both fit with pre-applied 3M automotive tape and the hood's existing locating points.
