Warranty Policy
Last updated September 2026
Draft — review before publishing. Confirm the warranty period and the exclusions match what your sales team actually commits to in quotations.
What is covered
We warrant that our parts are free from defects in materials and workmanship, and that they match the specification we confirmed for your order, for 12 months from the date of delivery unless your quotation or order confirmation states a different period.
What we will do
If a part fails within the warranty period because of a defect, we will — at our option — repair it, replace it, or refund what you paid for it. We may ask you to return the part for inspection first.
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear, including consumables such as bushes, pads and seals
- Damage from collision, off-road impact, overloading, or exceeding a stated load or torque limit
- Incorrect fitment, or fitting to a vehicle the part was not specified for
- Modification, welding, cutting or painting of the part
- Corrosion caused by road salt, chemicals, or coastal conditions
- Damage in transit after the carrier has taken delivery, unless reported within 7 days
- Parts sold as clearance, sample, or prototype items, where the listing says so
Consequential costs
The warranty covers the part. It does not cover labour, vehicle downtime, towing, hire vehicles, or any other consequential cost. We recommend confirming your own customer terms reflect this.
How to make a claim
Email offroad@maike-auto.com with:
- Your order number and invoice date
- The part number and, where shown, the batch or lot code
- A description of the failure and how the part was used
- Photographs of the failed part and of the installation
We will acknowledge your claim within 2 business days and tell you what happens next, usually within 5 business days.
Trade customers
If you resell our parts, you handle the first line of customer contact and pass valid claims to us. We settle with you, not with your customer.
